Acceptable Use Policy

Last Updated: September 25, 2025

Purpose of this policy

LinkBoard helps people organize and share links in a way that is safe, useful, and trustworthy. This policy defines what is allowed and what is not allowed, especially when content is public and visible outside a private workspace.

Responsible sharing standards

  • Only share content you have rights to distribute.
  • Write accurate descriptions and avoid misleading titles.
  • Remove broken or harmful links quickly.
  • Add context in notes so readers understand why a link matters.

Prohibited content

The following content is not allowed on LinkBoard, including public directories, profiles, and shared links:

  • Illegal content or content that promotes illegal activity
  • Hate speech, harassment, or threats
  • Sexual or adult content intended for explicit purposes
  • Malware, phishing, or deceptive behavior
  • Spam, auto-generated content, or manipulative linking
  • Content that violates intellectual property rights

Moderation and review

LinkBoard uses a combination of user reports and manual review to keep public content safe. When a report is submitted, we review the content and may remove it from public view while the review is in progress.

Repeat violations or serious policy breaches can lead to account restrictions, removal of public sharing access, or suspension.

Public directories must add value

Public directories should be curated and helpful to readers. Provide a summary in the directory description and include context in link notes. Collections that exist only to drive traffic without meaningful value may be removed.

Enforcement and reporting

We review reports and take action when content violates this policy. Actions may include removing content, limiting access, or suspending accounts. We may also comply with legal requests when required.

If you see content that violates this policy, use the report tools on public pages so we can review it quickly.

We use cookies for essential functionality and to show ads that help fund the service. You can accept all or continue with essential only.
